ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work in a 12-bed freestanding emergency department (FSED)
• Staff mix includes 1 charge nurse and 2 RNs per shift
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Utilize routine ED equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Perform all routine emergency department procedures
• Perform respiratory therapy procedures including breathing treatments and BiPAP
• Perform point of care labs
• Minimum 1 year of current ED RN acute care experience required
• Prior experience working in a freestanding emergency department preferred
• Ability to take a proactive approach to anticipate orders and assist others preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
• Must be an autonomous worker with strong teamwork skills
