Opportunity:

Sonographer - Vascular Sonographer

Job Details:

• Perform an average of 15 scans per day
• Work with general, OB/GYN, and vascular patient populations
• Perform abdominal, small parts, and OB imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans
• Perform transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
• Perform upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams
• Assist with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred but not required
• On-call coverage Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating basis among all day staff
• Weekend on-call coverage as needed from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Minimum of 24 months of experience in ultrasound/sonographer capacity required
• Experience in general/abdomen required
• Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN required
• Experience in vascular required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARDMS (AB)
• ARDMS (RVT) and ARDMS (OB/GYN) highly preferred
• Skills checklist specific to Sonographer and/or Vascular discipline required
• Must be available to work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
