ED Registered Nurse Job in Camden, SC

MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with every other weekend required. This 91-week travel assignment begins August 31, 2026.

Role Details

• Patient care with acuity-based ratios averaging 4:1
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Experience & Licensure

• 2+ years emergency room experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with ED background
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)

Preferred Certifications

• CPI and TNCC

Clinical Skills

• Arterial line management and central line care
• BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator management
• Blood product and continuous IV sedation administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and IV vasopressor management
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Phlebotomy, triage, and trauma care

Patient Population

You will treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available through physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.

Work Environment

Epic charting system. Royal blue scrubs required. Weekly pay: $1,892.16.
