ED Registered Nurse Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at MUSC Health Orangeburg. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 25, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $1,892.16
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Float pool availability to support facility and department needs

Requirements

• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years emergency room experience; first-time travelers with ER experience accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Epic charting experience required

About the Department

The ED operates 37 rooms and beds, managing approximately 130 visits per day. You will care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The department is equipped with Belmont infusion systems and bedside ultrasound.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

• IV management and blood product administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation
• Triage and patient assessment
• Care of ventilated patients

Support Services

Interdisciplinary teams include physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to support your care delivery.
