X-Ray Technician Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for an 8-hour shift position at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 40-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,182.

Schedule and Setting

You will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. You'll be assigned to a primary department with the expectation to float to other departments as needed, bringing your expertise across multiple clinical areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment including GE, Phillips, and CareStream systems
• Perform inpatient and portable imaging in the Emergency Department
• Provide imaging support in the Operating Room as required
• Conduct pediatric and neonatal imaging studies
• Evaluate images for technical quality and compliance
• Utilize EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra
• Work alongside students and perform competency check-offs for student evaluations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiography program
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience, or 2–3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification required
• Mask fit testing required
