X-Ray Technician Job in Cumming, GA

Northside Hospital Forsyth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for their diagnostic radiology department in Cumming, GA. This is a 110-day travel position starting September 21, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,876

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient and outpatient diagnostic X-ray examinations
• Perform inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy procedures
• Operate C-arm equipment for procedural imaging
• Assist with lumbar punctures and routine X-ray procedures
• Support a 24-hour department averaging 150 exams daily

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• AHA BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience with operating room (OR) environments
• Hands-on fluoroscopy experience
• Willingness to work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Willingness to work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
• Must be a travel candidate (no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered)
