ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12s)
• 48-hour guarantee considered
• Must be willing to float
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Provide shift accountability for care of Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Arizona nursing license required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Black scrubs required
• NIH certification not required but recommended
