ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule is typically 7 days on, 7 days off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Maximum of one week requested time off if needed
• Shifts may change during contract to cover day shift or mid shift based on staffing needs
• Rotate regularly through 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit
• Assigned to different areas at minimum daily, and may be rotated during shift depending on patient volume and unit needs
• Assignments include Triage, Quick Registration, and Entry Screening
• Occasionally expected to float to other departments in which qualified to work, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in emergency nursing required
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification
