Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirement
• On-call required as needed
• Daily caseload per tech: 7-20 patients
• Minimum 2 years of consecutive, direct pediatric Cath Lab experience required - non-negotiable
• Strong structural heart background required including TAVR, mitral clips, ASD, and PFOs
• Must have extensive pediatric experience; occasional pediatric exposure is not sufficient
• Patient age groups include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Primary patient diagnoses include pediatric congenital patients
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Scrub color: Any
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
• Required skills include: accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), EKG lead placement, right heart catheterization, room circulator, rotablator atherectomy, scrub/maintain sterile field, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
• Preferred skills include: IVUS, Atherectomy CSI, Penumbra, peripherals, ASD closures, ECMO, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, and Xper Hemodynamic Monitoring System experience
• Facility operates 3 Cath Lab rooms
• Active Florida or Compact license required at time of submission
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
