Cath Lab Technologist Job in Margate, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida. This is a travel position with a 91-day assignment starting October 5, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You will support cardiac catheterization procedures in a 4-room lab environment, maintaining 1:1 patient ratios. Your duties include performing cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures, and ENT lab procedures. You will also provide scrubbing support as needed. Day shifts operate with a team of 16 staff members per shift, including 1 Charge RN and a Director. You must demonstrate competency with GE Innova equipment and adapt to the fast-paced environment while maintaining critical thinking and patient care focus.

Shift and Schedule

You will work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, on day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call requirements are frequent, and you must be flexible to meet unit needs.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent credential
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current ARRT certification
• RCIS certification preferred
• Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment

Work Environment

You will use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems. All GE rooms are equipped with GE Innova technology. Dress code requires red and gray scrubs in the Cath and EP Labs, with the option to use unit-provided scrubs.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,900 for this 91-day assignment.
