Cath Lab Technologist Job in Margate, FL

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for its cardiac catheterization laboratory in Margate, FL. This is a travel position with a 91-day assignment starting October 19, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work in a 4-room Cath Lab environment with a 1:1 patient ratio. The day shift operates with 1 Charge RN, a Director, and 4 staff members per room (16 total per shift). On-call coverage is frequent, and you must be flexible to adapt to unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with cerebral angiograms, stents, and balloon procedures
• Support ENT Lab cases and scrubbing duties
• Operate Special Procedures equipment and GE Innova systems
• Document procedures in Meditech and MacLab EMR systems

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
• Allied Health Professional degree
• Competency with Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment
• Ability to work 4x10 day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification
• RNs who can scrub are welcome to apply

What to Expect

You will work alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced cardiac environment. The facility provides unit scrubs; dress code includes red and gray scrubs in the Cath and EP Labs. Weekly compensation is $2,630.
