Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Work in a 24/7 department covering all floors throughout the hospital
• Patient population includes neonates through geriatrics
• Perform ventilator management, medicated aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, intubation, ABG draws and analysis, CPT, and Nitric Oxide management
• Work across a 30-bed ICU, 25-bed Open Heart unit, 25-bed NICU, and a 47-bed/5 Trauma Emergency Department
• Day shift staffing of 12-16 therapists; night shift staffing of 10-13 therapists
• Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
• No call requirements
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, and GA State License
• Required experience with Epic, Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840 ventilator systems
• Scrub color: any color except all red or all navy blue
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
