Job Details:

• Schedule options available: 4x12s or 3x12s - please note preference at time of submission
• Every other weekend required; 5 weekend days out of a six-week schedule
• No call requirements
• Holiday coverage required - if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Floating required within facility and to sister campus as needed
• Patient population: Infants to Geriatrics, primarily adult patients but will work with pediatric intubated patients
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Trauma experience required; facility is a Level 2 trauma center and Level 3 NICU
• Pulmonary function testing (spirometry testing) preferred
• Responsibilities include managing non-invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, performing arterial lines, oxygen management, patient education, arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, and drawing from lines
• Preferred experience with unit systems: Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, Viasys Avea; Epic and Pyxis also used
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, and Georgia RRT License
• Scrub color: Slate Gray
• Maximum RTO: 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• 48 orientation hours required
