ED RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 3x12 night shift position for an 89-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026. You will earn $2,446.20 per week.

As an ED RN, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history, diagnostic results, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and care team members
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and physician orders
• Coordinate and delegate health care team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Document assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations accurately and promptly in the patient record
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting plans as needed
• Participate in shared leadership initiatives and contribute to improvement of nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, students, patients, families, and visitors when appropriate

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required; acute care experience within the past 12 months as an RN in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current BLS, TNCC, and NIH certifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional nursing certification preferred

You will work with a dedicated care team in a 9-bed acute care facility at 9201 W Thomas Rd. This assignment offers the opportunity to expand your emergency nursing skills while working nights in a supportive environment.
