Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotating call required: weekday call from 3:30 PM to Midnight
• Weekend call coverage required both Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to Midnight
• 1 year of experience required; first time travelers accepted
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: CNMT, ARRT N
• Charting system experience required; Cerner system used
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with nuclear medicine procedures including PET Scan, HIDA Scan, Muga Scan, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scan, Liver Imaging, Ventilation/Perfusion, Pharmacological Stress, and Whole Body scans
• Ability to perform venous blood draws and start and maintain IVs required
• Experience with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials required
• Interdisciplinary support provided by Radiology department
