ED Registered Nurse Job in Knoxville, Tennessee

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at University of Tennessee Medical Center, a Level I facility in Knoxville. This 91-day travel assignment runs on a 3x12 day shift schedule, with weekly pay of $2,002.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care in the ED holding area for admitted patients awaiting bed availability
• Work in designated holding areas or hallways as assigned
• May float to acute care areas when no patients are being boarded
• Manage patient ratios of 6:1
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required

Schedule & Flexibility:

• Every other weekend and select holidays required
• Block schedule accommodations available upon request

Requirements:

• Current Tennessee license or active compact license at time of submittal
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute care or medical/surgical telemetry experience
• First-time travelers considered with relevant prior experience
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
