X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Weekday and weekend on-call rotation required
• No set weekend schedule requirement
• Work with Phillips Diagnostic and Carestream equipment
• Work with OR equipment including Hologic breast machine, Phillips portable, Siemens Cysto, and GE OEC c-arms
• Work with Toshiba fluoroscopy equipment
• Average of 100 patient scans per day across all techs
• Must be available to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting required
• Current Operating Room competency and experience preferred
• GE OEC c-arm equipment experience required
• Phillips equipment experience highly preferred
• Carestream portable equipment experience preferred
• Siemens Cysto equipment experience highly preferred
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT
• Active Iowa radiology license/IDPH State Permit highly preferred; non-licensed candidates must apply for license upon acceptance
• Skills checklist specific to X-Ray discipline required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months required
• Valid driver's license required
• First-time travelers welcome with at least 24 months of X-Ray experience
