Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• Provide registered nursing care on a 20-bed medical surgical unit serving both adult geriatric and pediatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts required with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Staffing ratios: typically 4:1 with a maximum of 5:1 for non-COVID patients; typically 2:1 with a maximum of 3:1 for COVID patients
• Minimum 3 years of med-surg experience required
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required
• Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• May be assigned to assist with coverage at flu immunization clinics as needed
• Expected to attend staff meetings
• May be required to float to other departments in which qualified, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
