Med Surg RN Job in Fort Defiance, AZ

Tsehootsooi Medical Center (Division of Fort Defiance) is seeking a registered nurse to join our medical-surgical team on a flexible 3x12 schedule. You will report daily to the House Supervisor for unit assignment, providing direct patient care across medical-surgical, pediatric, and emergency settings.

Your role includes:

• Working 8–12 hour shifts with day or night flexibility; weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Floating to other departments based on daily census and acuity
• Managing patient loads or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate care

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience that includes all three specialties: Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics, and Intensive Critical Care
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Moderate Sedation certification (Moderate Conscious Sedation may be obtained through the facility after confirmation)
