Med Surg RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning January 10, 2027.

Assignment Details:

Role Responsibilities:

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members. Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel to promote continuity of care. Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed. Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record.

You will participate in shared leadership, education, and mentoring of facility personnel, patients, students, and families.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in Med Surg specialty within the past 12 months
• BLS certification
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
