Med Surg RN Job in Fort Defiance, AZ

Tsehootsooi Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for its 20-bed medical surgical unit. You will provide direct patient care to both adult and pediatric populations on a 3x12 night shift schedule with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver registered nursing care to adult geriatric and pediatric patients
• Work 12-hour night shifts with scheduling flexibility
• Maintain staffing ratios of 4:1 (maximum 5:1) for non-COVID patients and 2:1 (maximum 3:1) for COVID patients
• Participate in staff meetings and departmental updates
• Assist with Flu Immunization clinics as assigned
• Float to other departments based on qualifications, including patient care or task-oriented duties

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 3 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Comfort working with both adult and pediatric patient populations

Assignment Details:
