Med Surg RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position at BUMC Phoenix, located at 1111 E McDowell Rd. This is a 3x12 night shift assignment with an 89-day duration, starting October 5, 2026. You will earn $2,307 weekly.

In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Reviewing diagnostics and laboratory data and reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulating and implementing individualized plans of care, including discharge planning based on patient-specific needs
• Providing direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluating patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Documenting assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participating in unit and facility shared leadership and contributing to nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Floating per facility guidelines

Physical Requirements: You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds is required. You will use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice is required. BLS certification (AHA) is required. You must have a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in Med Surg within the past 12 months. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Professional certification is preferred.
