Respiratory Therapist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a 26-week travel assignment offering 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights, with guaranteed 48 hours per week.

About the Role

You will deliver respiratory care to pediatric patients across all age levels, working as part of the Respiratory Therapy Department. Your responsibilities include:

• Administering therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff
• Performing invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients
• Recording treatment information and patient responses in computerized medical records
• Ensuring respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Maintaining respiratory therapy records
• Serving as a resource person to medical staff
• Participating in quick response efforts for cardiac and respiratory arrests
• Providing age-appropriate care in all areas served by the Respiratory Therapy Department

Requirements

• Current licensure by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Previous experience in a Children's-only hospital preferred

Compensation and Timeline

You will earn $2,664 per week. Your assignment begins on June 22, 2026, and runs for 89 days. This position offers the stability of guaranteed hours within a pediatric setting at a well-established healthcare system.
