Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with the same schedule week to week
• One weeknight of call required per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
• Three weekend call days required per month with 24-hour shifts
• Holiday call required as needed
• Call response time of 15 minutes required
• No floating requirements
• Scrubs are provided
• One week of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have orthopedic trauma experience
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• Some pediatric cases for RNs only
• Work in an 11-suite OR with an average of 18 cases per day
• Common cases include orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro (backs and cranials)
• Operate advanced equipment including DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
• Charting performed in EPIC
• Must have a strong work ethic, willingness to speak up about patient safety, and a positive attitude
• Must be flexible and willing to work when needed - block scheduling and travel duo scheduling will not be approved
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Pass/fail open book exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% required to pass
