RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x9.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Block scheduling type
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology (IR) Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Patient ratio of 1:4 during day shifts
• Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, unstable angina, CHF, SSS, and CHB
• Special procedures include STEMI 24/7, pacemaker, Micra pacemaker, ICD implant, right/left heart cath, radial caths, and femoral caths
• Special equipment includes ACIST contrast injector, LS PRO, Phillips Azure, IMPELLA, and IABP
• Scrubs are provided
• Required skills include antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, circulating procedures, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, left and right heart catheterization, monitoring procedural sedation, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, radiation and laser safety, sheath removal/monitoring, and thrombolytics
• May be floated to other campuses within the health system as needed
