Occupational Therapist Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita as an Occupational Therapist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five days per week with every other weekend required.

About the Role

You will work on a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit alongside an estimated 15–20 therapy staff daily across PT, OT, and speech-language pathology disciplines. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and treatments
• Performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) interventions
• Operating equipment including ESTIM units, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADL kitchen facilities
• Documenting and tracking patient therapy time and charges to ensure each patient meets the required 3-hour therapy requirement
• Managing a treatment load of up to 6 hours within your 8-hour shift
• Using the Meditech EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care OT experience
• Active Kansas occupational therapy licensure
• BLS certification
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting (preferred)
• Lymphedema certification (preferred)
• Neuro certification or experience (preferred)

You must be a team player with flexibility for start and stop treatment times.

Assignment Details

Start date: June 29, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,044. This is a Therapy credential position.
