Cath Lab Technologist Job in Sarasota, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL. This is a backfill opportunity in the Cardiac Cath Lab, working day shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,514
• Shift: 5x8 days (7 AM–3 PM)
• Start date: April 21, 2026
• Duration: 91 days

Role Overview

You will work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with two operational labs on the unit. Day shift staffing includes 1 to 2 RNs and 1 to 2 techs per lab, with 3 staff members per case. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and work collaboratively in a team-based environment. The facility operates night shift on-call coverage with a 3-person on-call team. You will work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis.

Required Skills

• Cath lab experience
• Impella support
• IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) management
• Ventilator familiarity

Preferred Skills

• Vascular and peripheral intervention experience
• EP (electrophysiology) experience

Procedures and Equipment

You will assist with typical procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), shockwave therapy, permanent pacemaker insertion (PPM), Impella, and IABP. The facility uses GE equipment and Meditech for electronic medical records. Radiology staff wear black scrubs.
