SLP Inpatient Rehab Job in Florence, SC

You'll work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Inpatient Rehab Program at MUSC Health - Florence. This is a 5x8 position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend coverage as needed. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Your Daily Work

• Manage a daily caseload of 6.5 patients out of 8 hours of contact time
• Provide individual treatment sessions ranging from 30 to 60 minutes per patient
• Float to acute care based on census fluctuations
• Chart in Epic
• Wear Misty Grey (light grey/silver) scrubs

Requirements

• Current South Carolina state licensure
• BLS and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• 2–3 years of Inpatient Rehab Facility experience (first-time travelers accepted with prior IRF experience)
• Special skills: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
