Respiratory Therapist Job in Tallahassee, FL

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule, with a minimum of three shifts per week required.

In this role, you will provide critical care and emergency care respiratory therapy services across all inpatient units. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
• Operate various ventilators and equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Document patient care using the Meditech documentation system
• Participate in daily nursing unit department rounding within the interdisciplinary team
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Follow AIDET patient experience requirements
• Rotate throughout all inpatient units per floating policy

You must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP. Scrubs are required as part of the dress code. This position offers a weekly pay rate of $1,532. Your assignment begins September 21, 2026.
