Occupational Therapist Job in Baltimore, MD

MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. You will work in a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program treating adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Position Details

• 5x8 day shift schedule, typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Tuesday through Saturday preferred; Monday through Friday candidates considered if willing to work one to two Saturdays per month with a flex weekday off
• One weekend day required per month
• Float to other units as needed
• 91-day assignment
• Weekly pay: $2,024.64

Your Role

You will deliver occupational therapy services to patients receiving a minimum of 3 hours of therapy 5 out of 7 days per week. Your experience will focus on stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and general rehabilitation populations. You will document in the Cerner/MedConnect charting system and collaborate within the rehabilitation team.

Requirements

• Maryland OT license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification
• 3 years of occupational therapy experience
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment completed
• Experience in fast-paced inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and general rehabilitation populations
• Cerner/MedConnect charting system experience preferred
