Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Sault St. Marie, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position at MyMichigan Health - Sault in Sault St. Marie, Michigan. This is a temporary assignment running for 70 weeks, beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, day shift)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts required
• Weekly pay: $2,952

Requirements

• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License (LARA must state Active)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient experience required
• Skills checklist current within one year and pertinent to Physical Therapy
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Submit and update written treatment plans as part of the physician-authorized plan of care
• Devise frequency and duration-specific treatment schedules in coordination with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale including rest, exercise, modalities, and other interventions
• Delegate responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides as appropriate
