Job Details:

• Work in the Emergency Room and Med/Surg areas as an Acute Care RN
• Shift options available: 8 and 10-hour shifts with 40 hours guaranteed weekly, three 12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed weekly, or four 12-hour shifts with 48 hours guaranteed weekly
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including transitional care unit
• Patient ratio experience of 1:4 required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Diverse patient care experience strongly preferred as this is a critical access hospital
• Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include medical, orthopedic, podiatry, and general surgery; facility also has a low-level ICU
• Skills required include Med/Surg, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Compact RN license accepted; pending license accepted
• Maximum of 5 days RTO; no RTO within first two weeks due to orientation
