ED Registered Nurse Job in Glendive, Montana

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 3, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work as an acute care RN in the Emergency Room and Med/Surg areas. The facility is a critical access hospital where you will care for patients across all age groups—infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses include medical, orthopedic, podiatry, and general surgery cases. You may also float to the low-level ICU and transitional care unit as needed within your scope of practice.

Schedule

This position offers three 12-hour night shifts per week with 36 hours guaranteed weekly. Every other weekend is required. No on-call duties. Maximum of 5 days RTO; no RTO within the first two weeks due to orientation.

Pay and Benefits

Weekly pay is $2,306.88. Free parking and free housing are provided.

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact license accepted; pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio experience of 1:4
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Diverse patient care experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Clinical Skills

Required skills include Med/Surg nursing, Rapid Response and Code team response, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula administration, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tank use, and isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
