Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend availability required for orthopedic cases only, every 4th or 5th weekend
• 6 to 7 weighted visits per day
• Home health experience preferred
• MatrixCare or Epic experience preferred, but not required
• Open to first-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
• Virginia PT State License required
• CPR certification required
• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients with injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases
• Provide education and information to patients and caregivers
• Participate in required discharge planning and complete all required documentation according to policy
• Direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance
• Work to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability in home health patients
