OR RN Manager Job in Scranton, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN Manager for a day shift Operating Room position at GCMC Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. This is a 92-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,511.

Role Overview

You will serve as a resource and leader in the operating room, managing daily operations and supporting the clinical team. Your shift is 5x8 days with variable start times depending on meeting schedules. You may be asked to arrive before 7:00 AM or stay after 4:00 PM for meetings. This position does not require weekend or holiday coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room
• Lead key performance indicators for turnaround times and first case on-time starts
• Troubleshoot issues during call coverage
• Manage new project roll-outs and ensure sustained compliance
• Oversee staff scheduling and workforce management using UKG, Kronos, or Workday systems
• Manage operations in a collective bargaining environment
• Maintain knowledge of TJC and DOH survey requirements and regulatory preparedness
• Apply current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practices

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• 5+ years of operating room nursing experience
• Operating room leadership and trauma experience
• Strong understanding of current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practice
• Experience with TJC and DOH surveys
• Proficiency with staff scheduling systems (UKG, Kronos, Workday)

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• HRO training
