PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Schedule consists of 4 shifts of 10 hours each with a variable schedule
• Shared on-call rotation required
• Strong GI/Endoscopy skills required
• Float to the entire Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and hospital conscious sedation for special procedures
• Provide SSSU/PACU nursing care duties across multiple outpatient service areas
• Utilize nursing assessment skills including peri-operative education and care
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Provide conscious sedation support for special procedures as needed
