Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with cardiac implant closure devices and cardiac stent placements
• Perform and assist with diagnostic catheterizations for adult patients
• Assist with IABP placement and removal
• Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations
• Assist with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
• Assist with rotablator atherectomy procedures
• Perform scrub procedures and equipment setup
• Maintain sterile field and serve as room circulator
• Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
• Apply sterile technique in all applicable procedures
• Treat middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Clinical track assigned: Cath Lab Tech Track
• EKG and Pharmacology tests required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
