Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Schedule options: 5x8 shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM or 4x10 shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call coverage required Monday through Friday from 3:15 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
• Every other weekend required
• Minimum 4 years of experience required; candidates with 2-3 years of strong experience will be considered
• Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Medication systems: Accudose and Omnicell
• Documentation system: Cerner (required)
• Communication system: SBAR
• Required certification: BLS
• Patient population: Adults
• Daily census of 25 patients across 17 rooms
• Skills required include but are not limited to: CVOR, CABG, TAVR, Mitral Valve Replacement, Cardiothoracic Robotic Surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Laparoscopic Assisted Cases, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, Spinal Fusion, Craniotomy, and a broad range of general, orthopedic, gynecologic, colorectal, thoracic, urologic, and robotic surgical procedures
