RN - Neurology

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-week contract
• Up to every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation depending on unit need
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required with 1 year of Medical/Surgical Neurology experience
• ICU, intermediate care, or stepdown ICU experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel contract strongly preferred
• Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical procedures required
• Primary cases include stroke, post-op spinal and brain surgeries, EVD, Neuro EMBO, stents, post TNK, and TBI
• Patient ratios of 1:1-4 on days and 1:1-5 on nights
• 16-bed neurology unit with mostly post-stroke and post-operative patients
• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
