Med Surg RN Job in Lander, WY

You will provide direct and individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients at SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE in Lander, Wyoming. Working the night shift on a 3x12 schedule, you'll deliver evidence-based care to a diverse patient population, including pre- and post-operative patients.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer and record prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses; record medical information accurately and timely
• Manage specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and adjust settings as needed
• Perform bedside care including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV starts
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and illness management
• Report adverse medication reactions and patient symptomatology per established policy
• Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptoms
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments
• Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning and patient transitions

Requirements:

• Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)

This is a 91-day assignment beginning July 13, 2026. You'll earn $2,233.80 weekly.
