Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend as scheduled
• Holiday requirement: Christmas and New Years if they fall on scheduled work days
• Handle 40-70 treatments per therapist during shift
• Cover all inpatient areas, emergency department, inpatient and outpatient EKGs, and outpatient bronchoscopies
• Perform breathing treatments, ventilator management, draw and run ABG samples, EKGs for inpatient and outpatient
• Manage up to 8-9 ventilators in ICU at one time
• Assist with intubations (not required to intubate independently)
• May be called to initiate CPAP on infants
• Float within facility only as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CRT via NBRC, NRP, PALS, STABLE Certification
• Experience required: ER, ICU, inpatient adult experience; pediatric experience preferred but willing to train
• Equipment used: Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, Avea ventilators, Bipap v60, Vapotherm for high flow
• Dress code: any color professional scrubs, clean shaven for men, no long nails
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license and be within 100-mile radius
• 3-day orientation with preceptor shadowing after completing modules
