RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed CVICU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio, or 1:1 for certain device patients
• Required scheduling includes 2 weekends per month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day), and 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day)
• Floating policy requires floating as needed, typically to other ICUs but may include other floors
• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, and other procedures on unit
• Must have strong critical care experience including CVICU experience
• Advanced skills required in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Work with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
• Document using Meditech system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required dress code: Scrubs in black, red, or galaxy blue; scrub jackets or vests only
