OR RN - Scrub/Circulator Job in Calais, ME

You will join Calais Community Hospital as a full-time Operating Room RN, working 40 hours per week Monday through Thursday. This 91-week travel assignment begins June 26, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to deliver safe, effective, and quality perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment.

Your Role:

• Serve as both scrub nurse and circulator as needed during surgical procedures
• Provide safe, effective, and quality patient and family-centered care during the perioperative period
• Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards

Requirements:

• Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in Maine
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 1 year of medical, surgical, or perioperative experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for PACU work (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Basic computer skills
• CNOR certification preferred

Compensation:
