Operating Room RN Job in Machias, Maine

Down East Community Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for our operating room. This position offers the opportunity to provide perioperative nursing care in a collaborative surgical environment.

About the Role:

• Scrub in operating room procedures as a mandatory requirement of this position
• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient and family-centered care during the perioperative period
• Scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as patient needs and workflow demand
• Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding patient information and hospital operations
• Support the mission, vision, and values of Down East Community Hospital

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Scrubbing capability is mandatory
