Operating Room RN Job in Portland, ME

Join our surgical team at MMC-P Bramhall Campus as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 1, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic 26-bed OR with a diverse surgical case load and state-of-the-art equipment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x12 days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend rotation averaging 1:4 or 1:5 weekends with 12-hour shifts
• Call obligations as needed, including one overnight trauma call (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Specialty team call scheduled per individual team rules
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Weekly pay: $3,170

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Strong vascular surgery experience, including both open and endovascular cases
• Plastics experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• CNOR certification preferred

Preferred Experience:

• General, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, dental, and endovascular surgery
• Specialty team participation: Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho

Facility Information:

• Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
• EMR system: Epic
• Teal scrubs provided by facility
