Operating Room RN Job in Rockport, ME

Pen Bay Medical Center seeks an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work 36 guaranteed hours per week in a role that combines direct patient care with OR team responsibilities.

Shift and Schedule

• Four 9-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating days off
• One weeknight call per week from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend call (48 hours) every 6 to 7 weeks based on staffing needs
• No scheduled weekend hours; call requirements only
• 4x10 shifts available upon request

Role Responsibilities

• Provide OR circulating care with 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate standard OR equipment and utilize EPIC EMR
• Assist with room turnovers and team support as needed
• May occasionally provide 1:1 coverage on other units during low census
• Respond to weeknight and weekend call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years OR circulating experience, or minimum 3 years OR experience plus prior travel assignment experience
• Experience in a smaller facility OR setting
• Experience across multiple surgical service lines
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications for call coverage

Preferred Experience

• Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General, and ENT service lines
