Operating Room RN Job in Portland, ME

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 1, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 day shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:4 weekend rotation with 12-hour shifts
• One overnight trauma call per month: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Additional call scheduled per specialty team rules
• Weekly pay: $3,000

Role Details

You will circulate in a Level 1 trauma facility with 1:1 patient ratios. Your responsibilities include managing complicated total joint revisions, robotics cases, and ortho poly traumas. You must be able to independently navigate multiple surgical vendors and equipment systems.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Proficiency in circulating complicated total joint revisions, robotics, and ortho poly traumas

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular surgery

Facility Information

The facility uses Epic EMR. Equipment includes Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems. Teal scrubs are issued by the facility. Specialty teams include Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, and Ortho, and you will participate in call rotations according to team-specific rules.
