Operating Room RN Job in Portland, ME

MMC-P Bramhall Campus is seeking an RN for the Operating Room on a 63-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026. You will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 4x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a 1:4 weekend rotation. Weekly pay is $3,170.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed operating room with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support surgical cases across multiple specialties including General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures
• Assist with advanced procedures including Robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
• Handle specialty team call per Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, and Ortho team rules
• Respond to one scheduled overnight trauma call from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM as required

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience; at least 3 years of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Competency with Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot equipment
• Comfort with patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• CNOR certification preferred
