Operating Room RN Job in Rockport, ME

Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, ME is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work as an OR Circulating Nurse, scheduled for 36 hours per week across four 9-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one day off per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide circulating nurse support in the operating room with 1:1 patient ratios
• Manage room turnovers and coordinate with surgical teams across multiple service lines
• Respond to call requirements: one weeknight call per week (4:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and approximately one 48-hour weekend call every six weeks
• Utilize EPIC EMR and standard OR equipment
• Occasionally assist on other units during low census periods for 1:1 coverage, though this is not a regular requirement

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of OR circulating experience
• Prior experience in a smaller facility OR setting
• Demonstrated experience across multiple surgical service lines
• Preferred experience in Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General, and ENT
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required for call coverage
• Willingness to function as a collaborative team member

The facility provides scrubs. You will receive $3,030 per week. The assignment begins November 8, 2026.
