Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Rotating overnight OR call and weekend call required
• Call requirement: 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday call for OR and possible PICC line assist as needed
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Valid state license required
• Work in a 5-procedure room unit including 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 CT-capable room
• Service approximately 10-15 cases per day including joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, nephrostomy and cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges, abscess drains, port placements, biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, and chest tube placements
• Operate special equipment including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT
• Charting system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Black or Caribbean blue
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI, BLS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: interventional radiology procedures, fluoroscopy, PICC line placement and care, central venous access, embolization, angiography, PACS, Philips and Siemens equipment operation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
